Ingrown Quill? Pull out?
Hi, does this look like an ingrown quill? It seems to be growing sideways. If so , should I pull it out?
I read on here that you shouldn't put extra strength polysporin. Just wondering how come?
Seems like I have a lot of issues/concerns lol

It does look like it might be ingrown or deformed, especially with the skin around it looking sore. Does she seem bothered by it? You could try tugging it a bit & see if it comes out easily, but I'd be careful about forcing it...The two times Lily had an ingrown quill, I was paranoid & just took her into the vet since we had other reasons to go at the same time anyway.
Extra-strength polysporin has an ingredient that's toxic to hedgehogs in it, so the only kind that's safe is the normal kind. You also don't want to use the pain relief polysporin/neosporin either.
