Default dandruff!

my hedgehog has serious dandruff. when i blow on his quills (much to his discomfort, poor baby) little things of dandruff would come out, and when holding it would come out too. What could be used for his dry skin? Please help!!!

I normally use oatmeal in his baths (I put the oatmeal in socks I don't use anymore and squish it in the water) and get the oatmeal juices on his back and leave it for about 5 minutes then wash it off. If you want extra precaution, I get the liquid pills of flax seed oil, puncture a pill and squirt the liquid onto his food and mix it. For a while they might look at it weird but mine was curious enough to dig in! Also even washing them too much can cause dandruff because they are lacking the oil on their skin! So move your bath times a little further out like a month or if he's too stinky. This doesn't include foot baths, clean those toes when they are icky!

If you plan on using oatmeal, get all natural grain and no extra added stuff like berries. Just simple grain!
