Unhappy I dont know what is happening

Hi so i have a female hedgehog who is 7 months old.

Recently i started nothing in her cage that she has quills falling out. I<ve been keeping and eye on it and the first week I found about 15-20quills and then the next week when cleaning i found about 30.

I started wondering if she had mites. I ruffelled her up a bit to get her skin on a black piece of paper and checked to see if there was any movement on her and there wasnt.

She has recently moved for the summer, and is in a new cage. Its been about a month and a half that shes been in her new cage. She is eating, drinking and running on her wheel everyday. Her poop looks the same as it always been.

I have also found a weird patch that im not sure if its the normal 'reverse mowhawk' they have to help them curl up or a patch of quills missing. Which i think i attached a picture.

Is this stress related to her moving? Is this a second quilling process? Or a bug she might have.

Im in the process of finding a vet near me that will take hedgehogs im just trying to get an idea of what this could be in the meantime.

it's hard to tell by the lighting, but it doesn't appear dry. If she has mites, she would have scabs and be dry. If she was stressed, it's likely she would have messed up poop, too. I am no expert however. Though Apollo also has a little patch there, although its not as big.

Mites don't usually cause scabs, sometimes there is some yellow crusty areas but not scabs. The patch in the pictures isn't the reverse Mohawk.

Is she scratching at all? If not then I'd just keep any eye on her for now. Some hedgies seem to shed some quills in the spring when the weather warms up. Watch for any scratching, sores or large patches of dry skin.

she does scratch from time to time but it doesn't seem excessive
