Oatmeal. We went to the vet and got him some additional revolution and cleaned his cage again. Poor dude is losing quills in clumps now. And my rash is looking BAD but dr said it doesn’t look bacterial or fungal. Maybe I had a few mites get me and they will die off?? Everyone keeps telling me they are species specific and I don’t have mites. They don’t seem to be spreading to any other place on my body or to anyone in the house.

You might have an allergy to the mites, like some people have to some bug bites. May be try some over the counter allergy medicine?

It's very unlikely that you have mites, it's much more likely that you are having an allergic reaction to his quills.
