Problem with quills and hair loss, maybe mites???

I've recently been given a hedgehog who seems to have a couple of problems. She loses a couple of quills a night but they've all seemed to have the bulb on the end. However, she seems to have a couple small bald patches. Also, her belly fur seems to fall out like crazy. It will be all over her fleece liners. Sometimes there is a chunk of dried skin attached to the fur. Also, behind her ear, she seems to have a very obvious bald spot that is sometimes red from her scratching. Could this be mites? She has never had anything wood or paper in her cage but I've tried oatmeal baths and oil rinses but they only seem to temporarily help her.

Just some background, she is about 4 months old and she eats a mixture of chicken soup for the cat lovers soul and solid gold (midnight prowl)
