I make my own hedgie bags. I start with a rectangle of fleece, a little larger than you think you'll need. Fold over about 1/2" on one of the long ends, and sew along it. Then fold the rectangle in half and sew along two sides, leaving the hemmed part as an opening. Trim all the threads as close as you can, then turn it right side out. It's better to sew it with a sewing machine if you can, because the stitches are much smaller and firmer than most hand sewing, so less likely for hedgies to get stuck.
You can use a double layer of fleece if you need a warmer bag
