Default Making cage liners

I'm about to go to Joanns and pick up the tools I need to make Harley fleece liners for her cage. Can anyone tell me what exactly I should look for? I want to make sure I get everything

Well I need to know what I need? It's obviously not just the fleece fabric

I made my liners with just two pieces of fleece, sewn together.

Actually, I just bought a large piece of fleece the length of my cage but double the width, fold it over to make a double layer, and just put it in like that - no sewing or anything needed (mostly because I can't sew, haha). If you want, you can add some room on the sides (either length or width, or both) so it comes up around the sides to prevent liner diving.
lilsurfergrlsp and Prickerz like this.

It is pretty much that easy, it's why fleece rocks.

Also, just to add, it's better to get "anti-pill" fleece when choosing out fleece for your hedgie. That type of fleece doesn't give off little "pills," which can get stuck or wrapped around your hedgie's little toes, especially if they decide to liner dive or dig like my girl did at first

When i did my fleece liners for my cage i sewed two peices of fleece together, and then used "heat n bond" tape (that you just iron on from joanns it was less than 3 dollar) and you can use it to attach little ties that you can tie to the side of your cage so that heat will stay in the cage so your hedgie is nice and cozy especially in these next couple months since it can get kinda cold
