Default Fabric cage liners

I'm going to be a first time hedgie owner in a couple months and I'm trying to get everything done. I was wondering how to make the fabric liners because they seem a lot better than other things. Also if theres any other advice I'd love to hear it (:

Thank you

There's not much to making them. Get a piece of cotton fleece and just cut it to size. I usually leave an 3/4" - 1" extra vertically and horizontally to allow for shrinkage and just having a little extra around the sides in case my little guy decides to dig at it to build a little pillow in his igloo (he does it quite a bit). I like to have two or three so I can have one in the cage and one in the wash.

I've heard some people do like 4 layers of different fabric with fleese on top cause it's more absorbent. But if one layer works then all the better (: thank you

I usually cut one twice the size of the cage and fold it in half so there's two layers. But the several times I have mis-measured or mis-cut I have just used one layer and it's been fine.
