Default Any reccomended way to hand wash fleece liners?

My mom is against putting them in the washer to begin with, and after that she complains it will run up the water bill just to throw them in there alone.

Any advice on a reliable way to handwash them?

I've just pre-washed my liners in the tub with human shampoo, then tossed them in the laundry with everything else. They don't get a load all to themselves.

We have 15 hedgies here and do their textiles in their own load twice a week. If you have a lesser amount, I recommend just adding them to your human laundry. You might want to add an extra rinse, but it's really not necessary.
