Unhappy Fleece.. no flooring?

So, Pandora has a cgae that is two (110?) qt containers connected by a PVC. It's huge.
She has one piece of fleece folded in half on each side. One side has her WHEEL and FOOD and WATER and LITTER BOX, and thats it.
She keeps crawling UNDER her wheel BETWEEN the folded fleece to sleep, even though the other side has TOYS and a dome with fleece and my old tshirt to sleep in, and TWO other tubey fleece bag things to sleep in if she wants.

My question is, is it okay to remove the fleece on the wheel side and just leave the other side for her to sleep in? I really want to discourage this and I don't know how (:
I love her to deathe but **** she's weird (:
And keep in mind, if I remove the fleece, it will just be plain sterilite to walk on.

That's rather slippery for hedgie feet and they could strain their legs trying to keep from slipping. Does she have a litter box under her wheel? I tape the litter box to the side of the bin and it stays under the wheel. it prevents my liner diver from going under, and the food and water weigh down the other side of the fleece so theres no way she can get under really. You might try it, it helps me

You're going to want to have a liner on both sides. Especially since the wheel is there, it'll get messy if you don't have a liner down.

Does she go to the other side otherwise, just not for sleeping? You can try to rearrange the cage so she has an "approved" sleeping option on both sides. We have two pairs of girls that have double bins, connected the same way, and each bin has at least one bed of some sort. You might have better luck having the wheel and some toys and a bed on one side, and the food/water, some toys, and another bed on the other side. Food and wheel are the main attractions, so if they're both in one bin, she may not be motivated to go to the other one to seek out a sleeping spot. To her (and most hedgies), anything that can be burrowed into works for a bed, whether or not it's something we would think of that way.

Really, since it's not doing her any harm, I'd say just let her sleep where she wants.
