Unhappy Absorbent liners...

I am the start of gathering fabric to make liners and was curious if anyone had ideas to make them more absorbent. I bought some anti-pill and normal fleece and some flannel - thinking the flannel would absorb better.

We are adding a 1x2-3 C&C addition onto Durzo's current Super Pet Lg home so will need two liners for the strange L shape. (will be connected via a pvc tube)

my mom made me mine for my c&c cage and she put a layer of fleece on the bottom a layer of diaper flannel on the top. its great because the fleece keeps in from soaking through to the bottom of the cage but the flannel absorbs a tone

Hmmm.. diaper flannel.. I wonder how that it is different from the flannel I bought. Possibly thicker...? I will have to look into that. My mom has been sewing me snuggle bags and little accessories as well haha but I am going to try and make the liners

ooh found this article... http://artisanssquare.com/sg/index.php?topic=4297.0

I have heard of putting some kind of terry cloth in between the layers of fleece. Or these UHAUL pads. http://www.uhaul.com/MovingSupplies/Pro ... niture-Pad

I ordered a few yards today to be on the opposite side of the fleece - found it for 3.98/yd at fabric.com ~ and free shipping because I found other goodies
