dimensions for sleeping bags and plush igloo's?

last newbie question for awhile i promise and im sorry if this is on here somewhere, its hard to get used to how new forums are set up but:

- what are the appropriate dimensions for Hedgie sleeping sac?

- also i see some people have fabric igloos, does anyone want to share the pattern for that as well?

A good size for the hedgie bags is *whips out mini tape measure* about 10x10". For the igloos, those are usually covers and I'm not sure if you can find any patterns- our member Nancy I believe retains a copyright on that design.

LOL i kinda thought that was a copyright protected design :P its funny how all pet forums pretty much are the same, only different pets of course =) i can deal without the plushy igloo, unless Nancy sells them??

You used to be able to buy an igloo pattern. It was sized for cats though, but it shouldn't be hard to make it smaller.

Question, ladies and gents, regarding Nancy's copyright: does she have a copyright on pouches and blankets, too? << I ask because I want to get into selling mine to supplement my income.

Thanks for your help guys! it seems as tho she is only taking a few order ATM so i might just wait untill i get a hedge to purchase some igloo covers (as im not sure what gender or what i am naming it yet) but ill get to work on a few unisex sleeping bags.

as for liners. i was thinking fleece on top with terry cloth on the bottom (hedgie will not walk on this part) for absorption. how does that sound?

sorry for all the questions, i just like to get things all in order before i pick him/her up, that way im not making a midnight run to walmart for something i should of had before hand

I'm taking orders but only one at a time at the moment.

Don't use terrycloth if it is exposed. Even if it's on the bottom if he crawls under the liner there is a risk of getting caught in it.

No, there are so many people selling bags/hats/liners/blankets for all sorts of different animals, you are perfectly safe.

could i put a layer of towel in between 2 peices of fleece? or maybe like the type of fabric used in cloth diapers? i read either your hedgie takes to litter training, or it doesnt, lol so i would *like* to try to get it to use the litter box, but if it doesnt, ill just go to bedding im gonna get 2 sleeping bags to start (unisex) and ill probably make 4 liners, and then when i actaully get the hedgie, ill get some more boy or girl appropriate colors.
