Default Making bonding bags out of anything :)

So recently I was in Claire's Accessories Store (chain store in North America) and I noticed some suspenders. It immediately reminded me of little old men and the suspenders they use to keep their pants up and that image didn't really fit in a girly store. Then I got the idea about using them as straps for bonding bags. =D I have been looking for a bag where I can keep Tank in front of me like how people carry their babies. haha

So I basically attached the suspenders to a fleece cube that Tank loves to splat in (cause it has room) and it became an instant bonding bag. You can rearrange the straps, change them to any length and then clip them securely to any snuggle sack you have. The suspenders I found had jagged edges in the clip so it tightly held onto the cloth.

I've attached photos of what I'm talking about. =)

Little old men? I believe suspenders is part of the chique geek fashion statement these days.

But as for the use for bonding bags... I'd be careful with them, might be ok if you are sitting with the hedgie portion in your lap, but after years of suspender wear myself, I wouldn't rely on them to stayput on the bag with the weight of a hedgie inside.

Cute idea! Maybe more realistic if the straps were machine stitched to the bag portion.

Yes, Zorro, that's true. Suspenders are a fashion trend, but I couldn't help but think of the little old man in the movie Up! He's so cute. haha

Your second point is an excellent one too. I agree that care needs to be taken when using suspenders. It is probably a good idea to test the straps and the bag with weights before putting your hedgehog in. I did a test myself with the ones I purchased with the bonding bag. I put in a 2 pound dumbell and a rock and walked around with it and it was fine for me. I do suggest that the suspenders have a lot of teeth/jagged metal.

I guess I should say that this is a simple method for carrying around your hedgehog on your lap while using the computer or when not a lot of movement is needed (i.e. not when running around).
