Omigosh, I love the mushroom dome cover, I want that! I also don't get paid for a bit though. Marie do you think you can make a custom order for me? I'll message you about it. =)

I love the mushroom cover! It reminds me of Mario Bros. games, and I love Mario! Very cool!

That would be so cool. I have this kind of igloo. I think it may be a little harder to make a cover for though

Bethany, I think it wouldn't be that hard. I would probably just let the opening part stick out. If I can figure it out, maybe I could make the cover extend outwards. Not sure how it would work until I have one to try it on.

What I'm curious about is whether the dome covers I'm making actually fit the igloos as well. Maybe I'll bring it to PetSmart one day and test it out...

What size igloo is that one? Is it the giant size or the regular size?

Well, I picked up an igloo at the petstore the other day. I discovered that the dome covers fit on them, but they are a little bit too short on the bottom because of the brick-like things on the top of the igloos. It should be easy to alter the pattern to fit the igloos.

Which brings me to a question: How do you stand those brick-like things on the top? They are so hard to clean and dry! I am used to my simple Living World dome and it is so much easier to clean. I would have to say that I like the door opening on the Living World more too. The tunnel entrance is sort of a pain...

However, the igloos comes in cool, sparkly colours! That part is big plus I picked a sparkly blue one for Poggles so that he has an alternative dome when I borrow his to make the dome covers. He is suspicious of the igloo so far, and is currently sleeping in his toilet instead. Sigh... Poggles hates change
