Default Where does your hedgehog sleep?

The wooden house our Wednesday sleeps in is getting too small for her... or rather she's getting too big for it. I want to provide the ultimate super comfortable sleeping place. She always burrows under all the fleece in her house and sleeps on the bare floor. It seems really uncomfortable to me. She has a snuggle bag but she ignores it...
So I wonder where do your hedgehogs sleep? So they have a little house? A bag? Fleece or something else?

Both of my girls go under their liners too. I've offered them various house & burrow styles, but they mostly stick with liner diving, so I just shrug & leave them be.

You've got the right attitude lily's.

I get salty about it because my hog has both an igloo and a cat bed, but now sleeps not only under the liner but UNDER the puppy pad on the bare floor!

She doesn't appreciate the fancy things I do for her!

My boy likes to burrow but I have him on fleece and use big sleeping sacks or an upside down flower hide with loose fleece strips. When I first brought him home he'd sleep in the sleeping sack always and come out if he got too hot but as time has got on he's seems more bothered by the day light and prefers to "hide" and be in darkness so instead sleeps under the sleeping sack now. I had to stop using the flower hide too as he would scratch away at it to make it curve inwards under him and then it would get caught in his nails (was made of cotton). I also find he scratches away at the fleece still and find bits of fleece regularly stuck in his nails >< ~ does anyone else have this problem? Going to try adding more fleece strips to see if it will help solve his burrowing needs! Im apprehensive to use paper bedding in case it gets stuck to him and causes more serious issues, not to mention allergies :/

But yeh bedding sacks are a winner, I then use these out of the cage on my lap too and is also something he is then familiar with (has his scent on) whilst out of his safety place ^^
I've just received a cotton tunnel in the post for the summer so going to give that a try this week also! ^^

I built my little girl a wood hut and one of my old undershirts from when I was a kid as her blankie. She sleeps on top of a fleece liner and snuggles away at it lovingly.

Sometimes I hear her scritch scratching away but I think that's just instinct to try to get more material to cover their head as I always reach into her hut to tuck her in a bit more so her blankie covers her head and she stops scratching away after that

I made a felt lined box for my bug with a removable liner intended for washing. He digs it up and sleeps on the cardboard instead.
Excuse his quilling, his home needs cleaned once he wakes up for the evening.

My girl nova sleeps in her cuddle sack and prefers it over anything. I have a few options for her like a pineapple hide and sometimes an old sweatshirt/shirt of mine. But she always is in her cuddle sack.
