Default Wheel Cracked

I was just cleaning my hedgies wheel and I cracked it. It's a saucer wheel and all the pet stores near by are closed. I was wondering if anyone had any way to fix it temporarily for tonight so he's not bored. It's the outer edge of the saucer and the crack is at least an inch and could catch a foot.

If it’s a crack accessible to your hedgie, definitely take it out. If you don’t have access to any stores at the moment, it’s better (and cheaper in the long run) for him to be bored than to be broken! If possible, give him some time to run around a hedgehog proof room for a while or another supervised activity.
With that being said, I’d encourage you to switch wheels when you can. For hedgehogs, the tilt of saucer wheels can lead to spine problems down the road. You should look into a vertical wheel, such as a bucket wheel (Carolina storm bucket wheels are very common)!
