Hi everyone,
I'm a new hedgehog owner and am nervous that my little guy (Draco) is running too much? He is 10 weeks old and spends the majority of his evening on his wheel. I have a dig box, fleece forest, TPtube, balls, and burrow bag in his cage. At first, I thought he might just be bored, but with all those toys in there, he still prefers to run. I'm just nervous that he will destroy the pads of his feet or something (I have the kaytee 12" wheel). Someone please help ease my mind! Thanks in advance. - A new mommy to her fur baby |

I would say it is actually a good thing that he likes his wheel so much! I wouldn't worry. However, maybe think about purchasing a Carolina Storm Bucket Wheel since many suggest this for their hedgehog. I also bought one and it is super quiet, easy to adjust, and harmless to their feet since there are no grooves!
