Default Cheap To Make and Easy To Take Apart!

Guess I should have put this here to begin with

I just thought I'd share how I made my hedgehogs cage. I purchased two large clear plastic tubs to make a two level cage. I drilled what felt like a million tiny holes in the botton one so there'd be plenty of air flow. I got tubs with latching lids so they stay latched together, but are easily taken apart for cleaning. I have the lid fastened to the bottom tub which I cut a large hole in and matched it to a hole in the bottom of the top tub. I got a regular garden type pipe that's flexible and is ribbed all the way up for a little tunnel to the top tub which fills the hole in the lid and the top tub. The top tub has very high walls so I don't put a lid on it so no holes thank goodness lol. In two years of having my hedgie he's never been able to get out. I have a fleece liner in the top tub with a matching hole in it for his tunnel. The top tub has his wheel, litter box, food dish, water dish, and toys. The bottom tub is lined with fleece cut into tiny pieces because he loves to burrow when he sleeps it has his igloo. The fleece is washable so that's how I clean his cage. It's a very cheap and MUCH roomer alternative to any cage I've seen out there. The cage come apart very easily for cleaning and when it's cuddle time.*
