This microwavable heating pad it's amazing! It works well for car trips to the vet or travel as well as during power outages! There's a heating guide based upon your microwave it usually keeps warm for around 10-12 hours. The only con I've found is that the cover fell apart pretty quickly but it's not hard to make another cover....

I too thought this was a great option for a little added heat. I was about to order one when I read stories about people saying that they followed the heating instructions, but the pad failed. By failed I mean caused a chemical fire! I'm not speaking from personal experience with the sugglesafe, I'm just saying this is why I chose not to use them. Just a little FYI to inform people of the possible hazard so you can make your own decision.
