Hello from Alabama
I just adopted a female hedgehog yesterday. She is my first hedgehog. My daughter and I named her Tuesday. Tuesday has the pinto coloring and is a year and a half old.
I have guinea pigs as well and they live in a cubes and coroplast cage. I divided their cage and Tuesday lives on the other side in a 2x3 area of the cage. I use fleece with towels underneath as bedding for her and the guinea pigs. I hope to learn a lot from this site as I'm so new to being a hedgie mom. |

 Guntersville. Welcome to HHC and the hedgie family!Can Tuesday get to the towels? Hedgie toes can get stuck in them and rip off nails, just a heads up . That's really cool that you already had a cage!

That's neat you're from Alabama too. I know a lady online that makes custom bedding for guinea pigs and other small animals. She sews the towels to the underside of the fleece. It makes it super easy to take out and wash. The way I have it she shouldn't be able to get to the towels, but I'll be sure to really watch for that. Thanks for the advice.
