Hello! First hedgehog :)

Hi all!

I decided to get a hedgehog last spring, and I've already been on this forum for about the last 6 months obsessively researching I've learned so much from doing my own research and then reading discussions here from experienced owners! This forum has already been so helpful to me, and after a summer of research, I finally have my little buddy to introduce!

This is Parsley! They were born July 6 2019 on Quadra Island, BC (west coast Canada). They are 308g, friendly and curious! Hobbies include exploring, taking sand baths, eating bugs, and take long naps in piles of blankets.

I brought them home two months ago, we've just had a first vet check-up and they seem to be settling in well. I'll still probably mostly be lurking on this forum, since I'm still new at this and I have more to learn than to contribute. Thanks for everyone for being such a great community!

(also, if anyone here lives on Vancouver Island, hmu if you want to talk hedgehogs! I don't know anyone in person who has one, so it would be cool to know if anyone in the hedgehog community (can I call it that?) lives nearby.)
