Put something that smells like you into the cage with them like an old t-shirt or turn old socks into a ball - just ball it up it wont unball unless it goes in the wash. Make sure there are no loose threads. Change it weekly.
It really helps with getting them used to your scents. Which helps with getting them used to you more.

Yeah she still afraid of me unless play with her a little longer. Now every time I pick her up she will keep sniffing until she's on my hand.

For the socks or t-shirt, do I have to wear it a day first before putting in?

You can just sleep with the socks in you bed same with the top I do it for 2 nights, but some only do one.

Sounds like she is getting better with binding already!

I am also a new owner. Colleague bought him over a year ago and never named him or socialised with him. Tragic. Kept healthy though. He asked for 20$ for me to take him, cage and all. After a very long night reading everything I could find online on owning a hedgie, I picked him up the next day, because I believed I could give him the home he and every pet deserves. We hangout every day, even though there's a lot of trust building to do.
A few improvements within the week I've had him, and I'm also looking forward to advice and tips. My daughter named him Bozzly 😊, aka "Little Guy", and he joins us for a bedtime story every night before him and I chill on the couch together.

Update. Poor guy lost an eye a few weeks ago, and today I noticed he has scratched his other one... He will soon lose that one to no doubt. He doesn't seem to bothered, and I have antibiotics on hand in case of any issues, but my local vet won't do anything else about it. The first time he did fine, just scratched it out after it dried up. no problems and it healed quickly. Fingers crossed he adapts well. A little more skittish then usual, but I suppose that's expected.
