Nice to meet you, everyone!
Last night I became the parent of a very grumpy fat hedgie previously known as Mortimer (His name will probably change... I've been calling him Mr. so far!) His age is unknown, the only part of his history I know is that he has had at least 3 previous owners... foreign teachers come and go in Korea, often leaving their pets behind. I saw a posting asking what animal shelter the could drop Mr. off at and jumped in to save him from that fate! (Animal shelters here are not very... sheltering ![]() He came in a small cage with a food dish and water bottle. I'm working on upgrading his place ASAP! Judging by his fatness, I would say a wheel is in order first! A house, too. I've had many many pets in the past, but Mr. is my first hedgehog! (I'm from California where they are illegal) I'm looking forward to learning lots here! Here's a pic his previous owner sent me! I'll get some updated shots soon ^^ ![]() |

Welcome aboard! He is absolutely adorable. He doesn't look that chubby to me from the front. If you're concerned go ahead and post us some more pictures. A top-down shot is the most helpful. Definitely get him a wheel though! He should absolutely love it.

Thank you for the kind welcome ^^
I feel like he is a pretty big guy, almost the size of my foot! I was worried when it seemed like he couldn't ball up, but he finally did yesterday (He's just too lazy to do it often I guess haha) Ooo, and hello Filipino neighbor! It's good to see someone from this side of the world here ^^ I've been having fun trying to find information about supplies and things outside of the US haha |

It is so difficult to find supplies here in my part of the world! I keep on having shipments from the States just to have what I want and need for them :=)) But it is mostly want haha. I love seeing them all cuddly in cuddle sacks and cups.
