Smile My Hedgehog Gave Birth!

Piña, my female hedgehog gave birth to 4 cute hoglets! But I'm not sure if they're still 4 until now since I only peeked for a bit. Are there any tips on what else I can do? I know that I can't disturb them for 2 weeks, but is there something I'm missing? I do notice that Piña is a good mother since her first pregnancy was unexpected and she ended up eating her babies. But the babies don't squeal that much and they still rustle around so all is good! I hope to post pictures soon in 4 weeks maybe or when they are fully weaned and moved into their separate cages. Thank you for your future answers.

As far as tips, do as much reading as you can in the Breeding & Babies section on here. There's a lot involved with breeding hedgehogs, and it's best to do so only when you know what you're getting into & when you have money for vet care, etc. Was this litter planned? Do you know what you're planning to do with the babies?

Yes this litter was planned And I didn't really plan on giving them away or something but one of my friends wants one and I'm not really sure if I should give her because she's new to hedgehogs and all.... I don't have people lined up to buy the babies but it's okay because I have multiple spare cages that I bought before I bred the mom and dad. And I do have enough money for vet care and food and etc.

The babies turned 3 weeks old yesterday! I saw their open eyes and one is an albino! i got to carry the albino baby & one of the babies that had darker quill color than the rest, and let me tell you, they were very adventurous! They were so cute! I'll post pictures this week (And all 4 of them are still alive!!)

How exiting! I would love to have little hoglets, but by no means am I breeding. Too much expensive, risk, and time! Congrats!
