Default Baby Hedgehog bites her mother

Hello good day, i was just wondering is this normal to happen? If so what should i do? My hedgehog Aoba (mom) was just go bitten by her baby (male) and squeek really loud almost like sound of a cat in a fight.. I am really worried, i currently separated the mom and her babies... Btw there are currently 2 males and 3 female hoglets...

You need to take the babies out of mom's cage right away. They shouldn't be with mom after they are 6 weeks old and the males are supposed to be separated from the females when they are 5 weeks old. They all need their own cages.

Okay thank you very much i just did that and also i was wondering that, i understand that i should separate the females and male cos they might got pregnant, but is it fine to have all the females can be at the same cage? Instead of separating them?

It's ok to keep the female babies together in a cage, away from their mom, for a couple of weeks then they will need their own cages.

You also have to watch to make sure that the mom and the female babies aren't pregnant. Males can often breed by the time they are 6 weeks old.
