I am just wondering what normal weight gain for a 12 week old baby would be versus a pregnant mom. I know some moms can be pregnant and not gain anything or very little.
I've been weighing Lucy for the past 4 days to keep a record of it and I am seeing a small but steady increase in weight. Do you think this is normal baby weight gain or possibly pregnant weight? Wed: 1.08 oz (at the vet, not the same scale that I have at home) Thurs: 1.2 oz. Fri: 1.6 oz. Sat. 1.8 oz.

Are you sure you're reading the scale right? 1.2oz is about 35g, which is ... impossibly tiny. Our 4-week-old babies are about 100g, to give you an idea. I'd suggest weighing in grams. Hedgehogs only get to be about a pound, give or take, and weighing in grams gives a much more accurate idea of weight changes.
As for whether she's pregnant, you really can't know that based on weight. Weight gain at that age can easily be because she's still growing, but any new hedgehog, even an adult, can gain weight when it's in a new home if it came from a not-great situation with a not-great diet. If she was housed with a male for any amount of time, you should just assume she's pregnant and take the necessary precautions.

Make sure it's a digital one, for the sake of being most accurate. Most digital kitchen scales will do both ounces and grams.
Rounding to the nearest gram: 10.08oz = 286g 10.2oz = 289g 10.6oz = 300g 10.8oz = 306g So, an increase of 20g in the last four days. That could very easily be from growing, from being on better food, or just from a difference in what time of day she was weighed. Emptying the bowels can change their weight as much as 20-30g. She's in the normal, expected range for a 12 week old, and at that age hedgehogs are definitely still growing. It would be impossible to even guess at whether she's pregnant or not based on that. Like I said earlier, just assume she's pregnant. 90% of the time if a female is housed with a male after 6-7 weeks old, she's pregnant.
