I've seen a variety of answers for this over the years. Some use non-toxic finger paints, non-toxic fabric paints, finger nail polish etc. I think if I were to do it I would opt for the non-toxic paint for kids.

That should be ok. I get the tubs of finger paint because it has all the colors for like $7 :)

If they are your babies you might want to use something a bit more permanent. There is water based non-toxic model car paint that works well and doesn't come off easily.

The tubs of childrens paints are ideal for marking babies that are going to new homes. It washes off easily but if mom's or siblings decide to lick at it, you can end up with the same colour on all babies.

Ya they will be together for an 8 drive so something more permanent wouldn't hurt thanks everyone
