No I do not have a mentor or another hedgehog to foster the babies, although I am looking into it. I also don't know of anyone else in my area who has hedgehogs, but she has stopped trying to push out the babies for the past week or two, so the runts are catching up to the rest. I'm just wondering if being so behind in normal development is going to affect them or if they will be fine?

If they still have their eyes closed now you need to take them to the vet to find out why and what can be done, it's not normal. There is no way we can say if they will be fine, only a vet can tell you that.

Do you have pedigrees on both parents? This could be something genetic so I wouldn't breed either the female or the male again to any hedgehog.
