Like you said, the pelvic bones fuse after a year. Once the female gives birth, then the bones are opened up and stay opened up.
This is true in most animals and humans! That's why your body is never the same after you give birth. :roll: You can weigh the same, but your hips are much wider. Please don't breed if you don't understand this. |

This is one of those things where you would be better off starting your own thread to ask questions.
Hedgehogs are solitary creatures. Males can be mean to males and to females. Females can be mean to males and other females. Males and females should never be allowed to meet unless you're specifically planning on breeding them (which should only be done after tons of research and with breeding quality hogs). If they're biting each other they should be separated before there's an injury. |
