Wow, I'm getting my 1st hedgie real soon.
And I'm amazed by the colour difference. I'm admiring your photos, imaging what colour she will turn into. Hehe.

My Albino hedgehog have a black spot on her back on her quills. She will turn 1 in September 2014. Can I consider this as colour change, almost like a "beauty spot?" She does not show any signs of illness.

If she has a black spot she isn't albino. Probably a pinto with just one coloured spot. They are born like that. Do you have a picture of her?

@Draenog, Maya was not born with the black spot. It only appeared about a month or two ago. I will upload a photo of her and of the black spot during this week. I don't have my phone's USB port with me at the moment.

Sounds strange, I've never heard of that before, I wonder what it is...

@Draenog, I uploaded pictures of my Albino Hedgehog, Maya, under photo gallery. Please go and have a look, especially pictures number 1, 3 and 4. Number 3 shows the black spot on her back and number 4 shows that she was born without the black spot. I would really appreciate your feedback!

Thank you!
