Itching is a natural reaction to getting poked. I still get that if Quentin is really quilled out and huffy, and he's been with me for almost a year now. Bathing her too much isn't going to help that. The bathing is mainly to get anointing fluids off the quills if you're getting rashes from handling. Your hands will start to get used to being poked, and hopefully she'll warm up and the poking will get to a minimum--like I said, I only get it if he's got his quills all the way up, where normally he doesn't. It could take her a few months to calm down a bit, so don't be discouraged by the fact that it's been two weeks and she's still being a bit huffy; since she's had 3 owners now, I take it she's always been a bit huffy and the others didn't have enough patience. Remember, it can take awhile.
In the meantime, wash your hands after handling and then use some lotion.
