Default My picky little girl

Just a quick funny story about my Mochi.

My girl is very picky. I've offered a whole variety of treats: banana, a tiny dot of yogurt, live mealworms, canned crickets, blueberries, celery, cilantro, lettuce, pepper, and more that I've forgotten about.

The only treats she eats are her freeze dried mealies and crickets. (I know they're not the best for her...but she ignored live mealworms and spat out the canned crickets. I'm going to try next with live crickets or canned mealies)

We went to Petco with her, and on our way out we saw an adorable bulldog. The owners let us pet him, and my little hedgie was hanging out in a cuddle sack. She started squirming out so I held her in my hands. She began to lick my hand a lot and I let her, and the licking eventually led to a bite.

So my girl refuses anything that's she supposed to eat, but she likes the taste of a bulldog's fur. -_-

(also, I predicted she was going to bite me, but I didn't really care. :P It was just a taste bite. No blood and a quick release.)

Tiny hunter! She's got a taste for the large trophy animals, clearly.

So far my hedgie likes chicken, carrot, and banana baby food, also strawberries. Just keep trying and I'm sure she'll eat something other then bugs.

Oh yeah, I've offered chicken, turkey, watermelon and cooked carrot but she ignored all of them. I don't think I've tried strawberry though.

I really thought she'd like pepper since it smelled stronger...but she just licked it then ignored it. :P Oh well

My girl is really picky, too. I tried to give her blueberries, but she ate one and spit the other out on my arm... :P
