Default Ignorance is bliss?

I just saw this online in a different forum about hedgehogs and thought I would share cause it makes me laugh.. :P

"The only reason hedgehogs have spikes is because there saliva makes the hairs stick out, so if you gave one a thorough bath they would have less spiky-ness"

I take it he doesn't own a hedgie! haha, how can you think that? :P oh, people these days...haha

Oh dear.

He must be related to the woman who argued with me for an hour that horses MUST eat meat, because they'd never grow big and strong without protein.

She wouldn't believe me when I told her they got protein from non-meat sources or that horses couldn't digest meat.

Ah, geez... Ezra's previous owner thought he was some "hedgehog genius" and tried to tell me that hedgehogs never pee. Ever. Well, apparently he does pee on occasion... Oops.

I had to read the quote over twice to make sure I was seeing it right... this makes me chuckle. Does he think hedgehogs are completely covered in fur???
