Default I have been branded

So as a pet owner and animal lover i expect to be pooped and peed on. But was not expecting so much from such a little guy. Gave him a bath after and now hes quite active keep in mind its 10:04pm right now. How many times have some of you guys been pooped and peed on by your hedgies? This is my first since i got him last friday

Hey! Haha, I'm sure it is the first of many times to come!
This happens to me quite A LOT, but generally he always does it on my partner's lap and not mine normally it is when we've had him out for too long and he's no longer cuddly and wants to run ~ we've learnt these are signs when he needs to relieve himself! But there have been random times he'll just choose to do it, like after taking him out of a footbath >.<
It helps to put a blanket over your lap during bonding time so it doesn't soil your clothes!

Also to help avoid this, when you wake him up in the evening for bonding time, try giving him 10 or so mins to do his business. My boy used to be really good at this but now he will just sleep or want to hide and doesn't 'go' until the lights are off and it's his wheeling time! I normally just bribe him out with treats and then he'll sleep/eat on our laps for a couple hours and not pee/poop on us if we are lucky ^^
