Default Mountain Dew addict

So the other night i was sitting in my chair with squeaks (my hedgie) I opened a can of Mountain Dew and a little fizzed over and dripped on my shirt. Squeaks sniffed it and proceeded to clean it up quickly. Going as far as to even try to eat my shirt. Over the last couples days ive noticed if i ave a can of dew anywhere close she tries to get to it. I think with one drop ive created a monster i hope she doesnt resent me for now cutting her off cold turkey lol

Not surprised, as I have a dog that got to a small amount of soda from someone's accidental spill and from then on was super excited whenever someone opened a can around him. Lol!

In the future though, I'd do whatever you can to avoid your hedgie having any. That stuff isn't even good for us humans, so I can only imagine the amount of damage it could do to a small hedgehog!

Oh I would never let her go hog wild on it. I didn't even realize what was going on to start. I wish I could upload the video. It was pretty cute she was shaking my shirt like my dog does with her rag toys lol

I wouldn't give her even a little bit again. It's just not worth any potential risks, IMO.

They are cute though when they find some new scent/flavor that they like!
