Default Does your hedgie like being bounced?

I could've never done this with Tinkerball, but my #1 method of getting Coconut to relax after being startled or woken up is to hold her in my palm and gently bounce her as if she were a human baby.
fishhead likes this.

My little guy pepper likes being bounced too! I hold him close to my chest and rock like I'm calming a human baby while gently petting his back and he clams right down. I know most people say holding them with a flat palm will encourage them to unball but pepper likes to be held close. He will even crawl into my shirt and nap on my collarbone.

Mine too. When I take her out in the evening, she is still wanting to sleep, so I wrap her up in a fleece, cradle her in one arm, and gently pat and stroke her back through the fleece. She'll sleep for another hour like this before she is ready to wake up.

My girl likes being bounced too!

That's the only way I've gotten to get her to unball when I've had to give her medicine. Holding her close wrapped up in her fleece and bouncing is her absolute favorite.
