Default New to hedgies!

Hello fellow hedgie lovers. I'm Carlie, and I have been stalking you all for quite some time! Muahaha! (; But seriously, I have. I can't remember how long ago I saw a hedgehog and I flipped out and have wanted one ever since. Well I finally moved into my own place with my boyfriend and we decided to add a new family member to our family! Pickle! I'd love to update you guys on how much he improves throughout the months!

So far he's adapted well to the apartment and myself, of course. He loves baths, it's the greatest thing ever. He poops so much when he's on his wheel, so I have to give him baths like every other week depending on how well he kept his wheel clean for momma. Hahah. He's still a little fussy with me, and I still have to pick him up with a shirt of mine from his cage, but when he's out, he lets me pick him up and do whatever I'd like with him. He's a weirdo. (: But anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and my little Picks. Thanks for reading.

I am not certain with your wording but do you clean your hedgehogs wheel daily? You really should if not.

Of course I do! I meant that I give him a bath every other week if his wheel gets bad on certain days. Sorry! Hahah.

My hedgehog girls groom themselves so I have to get up extra early and give them foot baths cause I think grooming poop of their feet is gross XD

Welcome Carlie and Pickle ^_^

I think poopy wheels are probably my least favorite part about hedgie ownership Besides that, they're little blessings

Welcome to the life of a crazy hedgehog lady... Soon everyone will start calling you as the "hedgehog girl"

No, that's fine, you guys are the "experts" here, I'm a beginner! So if I'm doing ANYTHING wrong feel free to tell me. I don't want my little guy running into any harm because of something I did not know about. ): I would feel horrible.

HA! Believe me. My mom and dad used to call me Ellie Mae when I was younger because of all of my critters! I'll be one of those VERY soon! (:

Anyway, thanks a lot for the friendly welcomes! I'm excited to be a part of you guys!
(:
