Default Okay, so this isn't fun stuff....

So in an unfortunate stroke of bad luck, I fell down the stairs today and badly twisted my ankle. I wanted to get Rose out to play and cuddle, but I was so unsteady going up and down the stairs that I was worried I might accidentally drop her. So to be safe, I skipped her playtime today and I feel horrible about it. I hope my baby can forgive me.

Can you go in and talk to her? You can talk to her while you spot clean her cage, put out fresh food and water. Can you just take her out of her cage and just hold her while you sit in a chair?

Such great suggestions from MomLady! You are a wonderful hedgie parent. You have not complained at all about your hurt ankle. Your only concern is your baby Rose ......I don't want to drop her.........I missed her cuddle time..........did I hurt her feelings!! Hoping your ankle heals quickly!!!

So after some sleep I woke up to find a large bruise on my foot. It appears as though it's mostly in my foot. I think I may be able to get my baby out today. Though I'm limping still, I'm definitely more steady on my feet. I am going to wait and see if it gets any better, but I am hoping I will be able to! Fingers crossed!
