Default Winter and Liners?

So winter is coming up and seeing that I'm in Alberta, Canada it's supposed to be a dreadful one. I plan on getting some hand warmers just in case of a power outage (heck I'd bring her to school if I had to lol).
The thing I'm worried about is that Nina only likes sleeping under her cage liner (it's a yard of fleece, folded over) and on the plastic of her C&C cage. The plastic part is a little colder so I've put a folded over fleece cuddle blanket on top and every time I take her out she seems quite warm (I also have her heating lamp above where she sleeps) but should I keep her from sleeping under the liner? Or will she know if it's too cold?
I also plan on insulating around the cage.. I saw a post about it somewhere on here.

I live in Alberta as well, I understand your stress about the winter and keeping your hedgie warm haha. I think she'll be fine with sleeping under the liner, especially since you have a heat lamp and plan on insulating the cage. I've heard heating pads are a good option as well, good luck!
