Default my day 5 bonding

i feel like i am kinda writing a dairy in this forum now lol.
maybe i can even start a blog soon.

Because i took out my hog's wheel so I took him out to play for a bit longer today. he still hiss at me when i take him out the cage but i guess he will never change (can somebody tell me if i am right or wrong?). Even though he hiss a lot, I figure out that he doesn't get as scared as before. Only the quills on his head are stand up today but the rest of his body are still really soft when he is hissing. ( i am not sure if i am using the right words to describe it lol)

from his last owner she told me she took 4 weeks to bond really well with my hog but I have the confidence that I will only take like 2 weeks for me to bond with my hog!!

what do you guys think?
how was your experience when you were bonding with your hog?

Quite a few hedgies will always huff a bit when you first take them out. But will chill out once they know it's you.
How long it takes to bond depends on each hedgie & each owner. We bonded almost immediately with our Cholla. He's always been very friendly & easy going.
we've had Zoey for a few months now. I think we've bonded, because she is so much more comfortable then she used to be. We're still working on some things & still learning about her.

How's your hedgies feet doing? It sounds like you are doing a good job for him.

My hedgie is still new too and she huffs too. I find the easiest way to weigh her is when she first wakes up because she doesn't move as much - HUFF! Otherwise, I put my hand in near her, let her sniff it, then take it away... do it again except with a kibble in hand and she'll eat it. Then I'll slowly move under her and pick her up - no huff! When her feet leave the ground though she starts squirming, but usually settles once she's in a fleece blanket.
