REALLY bad at finding worms

Don't know if this should go in diet/nutrition or here, but it's just a funny anecdote either way.

Taffer is absolutely clueless when it comes to finding meal worms. I'll put them various locations around his playpen and he gets really excited when he smells them but he cannot ever find them on his own. It is so cute to see him go in literally the opposite direction of the worm

Is anyone else's hedgie severely lacking in this department?

Lol yea my hedgie lacks in the foraging for food dept as well lol he'll wake up when he smells them, but he either takes a long time to find them, or he finds them 'accidentally' when he steps on it lol

My new little girl seems to be the complete opposite!
She will be sitting on me all mad (it's only been a few days) but then I drop a worm nearby.. She unballs,runs over, snarfs it and goes back to anger mode

Before me and my gf start belle on the new food, I had a chance to give her a few mealies. And she was on the ball lol. Didn't matter where I put em she found em. Now this was only once so it may be a different case later lol
