Behavior improving!

I got my male albino pygmy hedgehog, Cookie, almost three months ago. He was pre owned and 8 months old. At first, he hated my girlfriend and I. He wanted nothing to do with us. The old owners never did anything with him. I've been bathing him as needed, handling every day, and letting him explore. I've also bought him a gigantic 200 dollar cage and finally got him a heat emitter, which he also never seen in his life. He seemed really happy being in his cage and spent a lot less time sleeping like he normally did. But tonight... oh ho! I finally picked up mealworms for him and gave him a couple, and he was never happier with me. I picked him up without problems at all, and handled him for awhile and everything was so great! It's nice to see my hard earned money and time finally paying off! He even left a hedgehog gift in my lap (poop, which is a good sign.) I just feel so excited about it that I had to post it!

I don't think their is such thing as a grumpy albino lol I think the are the best to work with temperment wise. I think they come around quicker

Well its taken 2 and a half months and almost 250 dollars and countless hours tp get him started. And I know it wasn't a one night thing because he was super good tonight too. Cuddly and all.
