Wild hedgehog

I picked up a wild hedgehog off the road in the daytime, he has a snotty nose and keeps sneezing a lot. I put him in a box with a towel and seems to be sleeping yet I'm not sure where to go from here. There are no sanctuaries opened here at the moment and no rescuers are picking up their phone. If anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it thank you.

You have to get him to a rescue or at minimum a vet. If he has a URI you can't treat at home he needs antibiotics.

So judging by your wording, I'm guessing it's just a matter of taking care of him until you can get in contact with a rescue & get him to them. Definitely do that as soon as you can, within a day or so if possible. They'll be in the best position to help him long-term.

For now, keep him in the box, in a warm, quiet room. You can put a small dish of water in with him - try to make sure the dish is something heavier, ceramic or glass, to help keep him from tipping it. For food, dry or wet cat or dog food is fine, if you have anything like that on hand or easily bought. If not, cooked chicken might be easier to get a hold of & would also be fine for now. But make sure he's definitely warm before you offer food, he needs to be warm to be able to handle the food.

That's all you need to do right now until you can get him to a rescue.
