Default Stopped using wheel

When I first got Jovie (March 26) she would always run on the wheel, I never had any problems. Then I had to move back to Charleston after I graduated from college and the first night she used it! But, recently she has just stopped. The wheel doesn't have any *ahem* obvious signs that she is using it . I don't know what is going on. She is in my room and I make sure it is completely dark, no tv is on, and if it is I have a blanket over her cage to make it dark. She is eating and drinking fine.

Any suggestions to help?

Does the wheel turn freely and are her nails in need of a trim?

I think so, it's a comfort wheel, the giant one. Her nails are trimmed too I accidentally almost cut the quick, she pulled away before I cut all the way through. I don't know if that is it because she hadn't been using her wheel before that either.

It's between 75 and 80..more on the 80 side. Do you think it may be too hot?

You mentioned you put a blanket over the cage, do you usually stay up late? I ask because my girls won't use their wheels unless there's absolutely no movement around them. It can be dark but if we have lots of noise or people walking around, they won't run. Maybe that could be the case?

I do stay up late, so maybe that is the problem. I will try to use headphones when I watch tv on my laptop in my bed. Maybe that'll help.
