Default Easter Time = Easter Eggs

I know there is going to be someone on here who dosn't like this idea...

But guys, it is Easter time. I have the plastic Easter eggs that you get 6 for a dollar at Target (Or cheaper after the holiday) and Billo LOVES them. He is always pushing them around his cage and I have even caught him sleeping with some of them. He dragged them under the tissue box, that he had flipped over to make a 100% dark Brillo-Sleeping-Time-Cave. It is always fun to watch him nudge the eggs around his cage though.

I have never had a problem with any falling into the 2 pieces, but I also make very sure that they fit super-tight together.

That sounds precious The only safety concern I can think of is like you said if they come apart and only because I've sliced my finger open on the lip before putting candy in there. If they are staying closed with no way to open them though it sounds like it would be fun toy. There's always an option of gluing them too with non toxic glue if it seems like the hedgie will open them.

I just tried this this weekend. I found some really pretty tie-dye plastic eggs at walmart. Stub generally ignores toys, but I keep trying.

Some of them are perfectly fine. Others do come open just looking at them sideways. As long as they stay closed there is nothing wrong with them.

That's a really great idea, I can't wait to try that with the girls and see if they will pay any attention to them! Rolo probably won't unless it's completely dark and quiet and no one is watching, but Cupcake might nudge them around. Thanks for the idea.

The good ol' KinderSuprise containers would likely be a good plaything too... Hmm... I might have to go find some.

I'm glad people like the idea. I looked at Target the other day and they have some shaped like carrots and frogs and things. Maybe a little something special to spice up the plain 'ol cage. Or "habitat" I don't like to think I "cage" Brillo . LOL
