ShadowBaby's great-grandmother got him some wood sticks to chew on and I was wondering if they were save for him. They saw on the package for hamsters and gerbils and they look like very basic wood chews (no seeds or anything on them).
She meant well with getting ShadowBaby something for Christmas and it's a simple mis-understanding that hedgies are different than hamsters/gerbils but I don't want to hurt my little guy. |

Hedgies shouldn't be given these. Their teeth are very different from hamsters or rabbits. Once they break down that's it, they won't grow back. That being said, it was super nice if Shadowbaby's great grandma to buy him treats!
