Default Dig box using Carefresh crinkles?

Is Carefresh crinkles safe for my Lil guys lungs if I make him a dig box using that??

Lol sorry about the 173 questions over the last week lol I try to find the answers to my questions myself but I always find conflicting info so I always come back here to get the opinions of experienced hedgie owners

I would guess so since it is a lot like eco bedding. This decision is up to you but I would recomend fleece strips/scraps. Less chance of mites than a paper based bedding. But it is up to you. i have heard people having their hedgehogs on paper based bedding their whole life and no problem with mites.

I have a fleece liner in my hoglet's cage but I sometimes use the confetti crinkles in his hiding spaces. He absolutely loves burrowing around in them and sleeping in them. We haven't experienced any problems with dust or mites at all.
