Exclamation Grumpy Hedgie :(

Tucker is a very grumpy hedgehog. I bought him off someone who didn't play with him when he was around 1 year old. I've had him for almost a year and he won't play with any toys
Are there any toys that a skittish, grumpy hedgehog will play with?

Are you trying to play with him outside of his cage? He may just prefer to play in his cage. Ping pong balls, hotwheel cars, little rattles, a rubber duck, a pile of fleece strips so he can dig.

Some hedgies also just aren't into toys. Does he have a wheel?

Yes he does have a wheel. He sometimes plays in the cage but never when I want to play with him
Thanks for the suggestions!

Most hedgehogs aren't really interested in toys, especially when they're out. They're not really animals that 'play' with their owners.
