Kapok seeds?
 

Hi,
Wondering if anyone has experience using a kapok seed as an occasional toy? Or if anyone thinks it would be unsafe? I keep seeing them in the pet store and thinking they look like fun. I’ve attached a picture for reference. They’re filled with cotton-like fluff you can buy seperatley as bedding. I’ve used it for bedding in the past but wound up switching to fleece. It says on it that it won’t ‘form strings like other bedding’. Anyways any thoughts on the seed as a toy?

Its just going to get stuck in his quills and nails. You'll end up spending hours picking it out of his quills.

Thanks for the response. I used to use it as bedding and there wasn’t really an issue with it getting stuck on him. I was more just wondering if anyone saw any dangers about it.
