That size cage is what I have for Archimedes - it's plenty of room. A C&C cage is a good option, and if you want to do that you should go for it, but definitely don't feel like the current cage is too small. The recommended floorspace for a hedgehog is 4 square feet, and the size of cage you have is a tiny bit under 6 square feet. For us, it's plenty to hold Ares' well (a fairly large homemade bucket wheel), litter tray, food/water bowls, a few toys, dig box, hedgie bag, and an elbow of PVC pipe - with room enough for him to move around however he wants to.
